Early activities

The charity activities started by giving food kits to 4 poor families; the activities later had many transitions. Along with giving helping hand to the needy people, the society also took the charge of saving biodiversity. In various parts of Panchayat, joint organic farming ventures were conducted and vegetable seeds were distributed. Karshakasangamam was organized by participating many pioneers in Pachayat. For the reformation of the paddy fields, Alamkunnam Padsekhara Samithi was formed. Veterinary coaching classes for the animal husbandry were given along with circulating the benefits of biogas plants. Veterinary doctor Dr. Venugopal has given goat domestication training to 350 women. Women entrepreneurship and leadership classes were also conducted.

Our Services

Charity Activities

Helping hands were lent for cancer, heart, stroke and psychiatric patients. Along with financial support, wheel chair, water bed, medicine, transportation to hospital and food kit were given for needy. Several persons who were found deserted by the roadside struggling with illness was taken and admitted to hospitals.

Blood Donation Camps

A Blood donation forum is working under Sathyanweshana Charitable Society. Blood donation camps were conducted under the supervision of doctors from Sree Chitra Medical Centre and RCC.



Eye Donation

By spreading the message “Nethradhanam Jeevithadhanam”, eye donation agreement forms were collected and handed over to authorities.

Male Old age home

Senior citizens without a family and / or begging on the streets or aged persons who would have been abandoned by the family will be taken and admitted in old age homes for males. Counselling will also (if possible) be given for the family members to take them back to the family. We are even ready to help and serve elders with no children or any source of income.



Palliative Care

Special medical care is given to people living with serious illness for providing relief from the severeness and stress of the disease. Our Palliative care team consisting of specially-trained doctors, nurses and specialists focus on the quality of life of the patient and the family members. We offer additional support for treating the symptoms and stress and also we are ever ready to communicate with your doctors.

Ambulance Service

Renowned film actor Jagathy Sreekumar had donated an ambulance to the Society in loving memory of his father Sri. Jagathy N. K. Achari.



Medical Camp

We establish free medical camps to bring awareness among the underprivileged people who have no access to elementary health care services or information regarding the illness they are having. Free medical consultation and medicines will be provided and reference letters will be given for people who need specialized treatment or surgery.
